Breed: Yellow lab

Favorite Food: Bacon treats! Chicken treats!

Favorite Walk: The bike path to Alewife, with best friend Olive.

Other walking buddies: Bugsy, Merlin, Oliver

Fun Fact: Bella has a collar for every occasion...she has a Halloween collar, a Xmas collar, a Red Sox collar, and lately she has been wearing her lucky Patriots collar which surely has played a big role in getting our Pats to the Superbowl. Might be time for a Celtics collar!

Meet Alex

Breed: Cocker spaniel

Favorite Walk: Walking is fun, but Alex looks forward to the post-walk belly rubs.

Walking Pals: Howard, Kaya and Sophie, Oliver, and Bugsy

Favorite Food: Dog cookies

Fun Fact: Alex is always proudly sporting his Bouffant hair-do. It makes him taller, and he likes that.

Meet Gilligan (aka Gilly)

Breed: Yellow Lab

Age: He's going to stay 1 forever

Favorite Walk: Walking around Melrose with his girlfriend, Mia

Favorite Toy: A giant stuffed pig...now just the shell of a giant stuffed pig...see photo below! It's just as fun to play with without the stuffing!

Breed: Poodle mix

Favorite Food: Her dog food, she loves dinner time!

Favorite Toy: Her stuffed shoe (not your average tennis shoe toy...hers has a 6 inch heel!)

Fun Fact: Biscuit is forever trying to bring her inside toys outside

Favorite Walk: Any walk that involves chasing a stick

Meet Mia

The Mia Stats:

Breed: Hybrid

Walking Buddy: Gilly, Gilly, and Gilly...oh and did we mention Gilly?

Favorite Food: All treats are yummy

Favorite Toy: The Kong, of course!

Fun Fact: If Mia finds a plastic bottle in the park, she picks it up and tosses it in the air, pouncing on it when it lands on the ground, she repeats this until the bottle is no longer recognizable....then she carries it to the trash can, she likes her park to be kept clean.

Meet Howard

The Howard Stats:

Breed: Pug

Favorite Food: Baby carrots...they keep him nice and trim for his racing antics!

Favorite Walk: Anything off-leash!

Favorite Toy: A little fleece man toy that he plays with religiously after each walk, he loves to fetch, not so fond of letting go of it though!

Fun Fact: Howard HATES the rain! And the slush! He becomes a little pug statue during wet weather days. Fluffy snow is okay though.

While his owner works, Howard listens to: NPR

Breed: Chocolate Lab

Favorite Walk: The bike path to Davis Square

Favorite Food: Pig Ears! Mmmmmmmm!

Fun Facts: During the big snow, Bear would dive into the snow drifts and just lie there, waiting for snow balls to be thrown for him to catch.

While his owner is working, Bear watches: CNN

Walking Buddies: Clyde and his best friend, Stella (his grandparent's beagle)

Meet Bugsy and Oliver

The Bugsy Stats:

Breed: Tibetan Spaniel

Age: Perpetual Puppy!

Favorite Treat: Greenies, cut in half please!

Favorite 3 Things in Life: 1. My Dad. 2. My Dogwalkers. 3. Greenies

Favorite Walk: The drive to the walk.

Walking buddies: Oliver, Bella, Merlin, Olive, Alex, Howard, and Lido.

Other buddies: His fishies.

Fun Fact: Bugsy will spin in circles excitedly if you say the word "greenie". (video clip coming soon!)

The Oliver Stats:

Breed: English Springer Spaniel

Favorite Food: Low Calorie Dog Treats, well maybe he'd prefer the high calorie variety but he probably doesn't know the difference.

Favorite Walk: Going to the park with any of his buddies and running with them off leash.

Walking Friends: Bugsy, Olive (gets a little confusing to Oliver when the dog walker calls her name), Howard, Alex

Fun Fact: When returning home, Oliver runs to the back door where he is let out into the backyard to "Catch the squirrel!"....Oliver has yet to catch a squirrel, but he never stops trying.

Meet Tally

The Tally Stats:

Breed: French Bulldog

Age: it's not polite to ask a woman her age.

Favorite Walk: Any walk in the Spring, Summer, or Fall. (Tally would like to hibernate during the winter, who can blame her?)

Favorite Walking Buddies: Sarai and Cami (she prefers humans to canines.)

Favorite Toy: The new ones, they seem to arrive on a regular basis.

Favorite Food: Pasta shells

While Owners are working, watches: Soap operas and CSPAN

Fun Facts: During the hot summer months, Tally completes each walk with a nice dip in her kiddie pool. She lies down in the water and finds it convenient to drink the same water while she's there.
